Does it Matter "Where" You attend a PG ID Showcase

My son and myself will be doing some traveling late this summer for about 4 weeks in GA/NC/Virgina area and if schedule and location presents itself, I'd like to get him into a PG ID Showcase. (The summer ID showcase schedule is not out yet)

Now from my older son's experience, who was looking to get on at an in-state JUCO, the Unsigned Seniors PG event at Ft. Myers (excellent event) was probably too far removed and a little late for it to be effective for what he wanted to do.

My younger son baseball wise is looking at the same situation, in-state JUCO. He is an 06, so I'm thinking that information from showcasing this summer will have time to filter down to the JUCO's, no matter where it happens to be???

Now obviously, if a local ID showcase is scheduled that he can attend, he will, but if it isn't, will going to one out of state while we're traveling help?

Am I making sense??

not really...he will get a good look and a good evaluation at ant PG event. That will start his diary so to speak, and it will always be updated as they see him more. As he gets older PG can always be asked about his projections and if he has a college of interest they are always ready to assist the player.
