Batter hits a triple, but misses second base on his way safely to third. Defense properly appeals batter/runner missed second. Batter/runner is called out.

Time play - score the run.

To add to that, the runner would have to miss 1st and have the D properly appeal in order for that run to NOT count.

It would then become not a timing play, but a "run can not score when 3rd out is made on the BR before he reaches 1st" situation.
