Great January topic. Does your neighborhood Y or similar facility allow indoor hardball catch or full-out pitching?
We played some indoor catch using a 5 oz. soft baseball. It was a snowy day and the place was almost empty. The facility did have some glass windows. The kid in charge was a little hazy on the policy in regard to a real baseball. He seemed to think it would be okay.
OTOH, I have virtually never seen anyone else with a baseball in a Y. Does your Y allow baseball?
