Clover Hill's George Hebert threw a complete game, striking out 9, and also hit a HR, to lead the Cavaliers over Manchester, 8-2. The win puts C.H. in position to climb into a tie with Manchester for fourth place (last district playoff slot) after C.H. makes up its postponed game with Wythe next week.

Monacan got a 3-hit shutout from Brant Jones (Longwood commit) to beat L.C. Bird, 10-0. Bird's nightmare season continues.

James River and Midlothian got the easy wins over Wythe and Huguenot, while Cosby was idle.
