Midlothian's Tyler Wilson held a 2-0 lead on Manchester after 3 innings, but the Lancers got 1 run in the 4th, broke out for 4 in the 5th and 2 more in the 6th, then held off a Trojans rally in the 7th to score a big upset win, 7-6. Wilson and Kevin Sias homered for Midlothian, but it was not enough. Manchester solidified its hold on a playoff spot, and pushed Midlothian to third place for the first time this year.

Bird rallied for 3 runs in the 7th to tie the game at Cosby, but gave up the winning run in the bottom of the inning as Cosby took a 4-3 decision and slipped ahead of Midlothian into second place.

In the city showdown, Huguenot slaughtered Wythe for the second time this year, with Keith Michel throwing a 5-inning no-hitter.
