Great Story! I love watching him play on TV. His passion and excitement is so evident and seems to be contagious.

Great story Cleveland Dad! AlexDog - I agree wholeheartedly - it is contagious. Just as negativity breeds, so can enthusiasm, passion and work ethic. This is the kind of kid a coach wants - HS, college or pros! Ability has to be there - but it's so much more than that!!!

He played for me in the Area Code Games in 1999, and was a treat to have on the team. loaded with talent, enthusiasm, energy and laughter. A really great kid with a Mom who is as good as it gets. She is an iron worker who helped build SBC Park where the Giants play, and did a great job of raising Dontrell.

The problem is that Willis only makes $385,000.00/year...with those numbers while "aging" mopes with numbers nowhere near his in the past 3 years make millions!

He's going to be a very rich man. He might be getting paid $385,000 right now, but he's in the process of making millions. Hope he stays healthy.

Right now he has a contract and I bet he's a very happy young man. Young usually don't make as much as old. That's not exclusive to baseball.
