I just got done reading your site John, you make some pretty nifty claims. I was wondering, if your system works so good, why aren't you in the big leagues right now? Why aren't you still playing? I am not trying to be a smart aleck, well maybe a little, but you make some serious promises on your site and I was just wondering why don't you use your systems and make a comeback, sounds fullproof to me.
Bubandbran,

This is exactly why I did not want to get involved into this thread. But I did so here goes.

I think we all know it takes a combination of many factors to reach the majors. All I do is list facts on my site. I was a very good D2 player. I hit .470 in college. Something I'm very proud of. All of this after getting cut from my HS team. I never claim to be the best, just found something that works and wanted to share it with the world.

I have helped many "average" or "below average" players get better and enjoy their baseball experience.

I guarantee if the program was a $30 DVD you would not be attacking me. But it isn't. I make no appologies about it's price. In fact it helped me earn a scholarship, earn two degree and have some of the best experiences of my life. It's worth much more to me than the sticker price.

I do not come on here attacking you about something I have not used.
Dude, you are a little sensitive. Those were all honest questions I was asking you.

John, this is your quote from your website:

“If You Can Hold A Baseball Bat, Then You Too, Can Become A .400 Hitter And Double, Even Triple, Your Home Run Power Quickly And Easily In Only 90 Days-Guaranteed”

Anyone who knows anything about baseball has to question this, so that is all I am doing. No attacks brother, your make some hefty claims. I am just wondering how you back up what you say.

OH yea, here is another quote from your site:

"Discover The Secrets Of Unlocking Your True Potential Using Simple, Yet Brutally Effective Never-Before-Released Hitting Techniques That Will Turn You Into A Superstar Right Before Your Eyes."

I am wondering why you don't work for the New York Yankees. They have plenty of superstars, maybe the Marlins should hire you. John, there is nothing wrong with making some money, I am all for someone who hustles to make a buck. Obviously you have done your homework and created a system to drive people to your site and sell your products. But, making the claims you do I feel is misleading and irresponsible. Good luck to you in your buisness ventures and if you ever want to talk hitting let me know.
This will be my last comment on this thread:

I truly believe I can help any ballplayer with his hitting. So yes, if you play I feel that I can help. A great deal.

If anyone is in doubt I offer a Guarantee. My only condition is that you do the program. So there are no worries about anything.

I will now get back to helping everybody on this forum as I have been.
Jon...you sound like a sincere guy, but your website speaks something different. Helping kids is one thing, turning them into a superstar is different. You make some serious claims on your site man, and I just want to know how you justify that. Rudy Jaramillo, who is considered the best hitting coach in the game today...I had the privlidge of working him early in my playing career, and he would never in a million years make the claims you do. And Rudy has coached thousands of players from Little League to the Big Leagues. And never would make such promises. And you are posting messages in a forum where there are many young men with dreams of playing the game of baseball at higher levels, and they are very impressionable. So, again, how do you justify saying that you can turn someone into a superstar, and to triple someone's homerun power, and telling them you can turn them into a .400 hitter? When we all know that no one person, besides the Lord Above has the power to do such a thing. Sure we can help kids, and I am sure you have helped your share. I just think it is in bad taste to advertise the way you do, that is all. So go back to helping people, but be honest and realistic with them. The game has a lot of snakes in it already, and has lost it's integrity, we don't need to add to that anymore.

My original intention was to see if anyone has purchased this product , not to downgrade Jon.
As coaches, fathers, players etc.. we all are willing to spend money to improve our baseball knowledge. The problem arises is we have all purchased products that are wasted money with no guarantees. I think John Malee's hitting program is excellent and that sells for much less. I'm willing to take a chance on $50 and under and if its no good then I'm not out that much. A program for $400 I need to get feedback first. Jon does guarantee this for 90 days I believe. I think Jon would do better offering this at a much reduced cost. For one, more people will buy it. I'm willing to take a chance I just need some more proof.
I deleted the post by bballdad17 because it was unfair to Jon Doyle and misleading to members.

One member ID is criticizing Jon Doyle, then signing on as a second ID, and endorsing his own products (the website belonging to the first ID), but pretending to be an impartial baseball dad.

I don't usually share things like this publicly, but I don't think it's right to have our forums used this way. Questioning and honest debate is allowed. Using several IDs to discredit another business while promoting one's own is not allowed. I appreciate that Jon Doyle was very calm and gracious in his response to this unfair situation.

I don't know anything about Jon Doyle's program, but his website is very similar in format and "hype" to Dick Mills' pitching program's site (www.pitching.com). We ordered this program more than a year ago for $300 or $400, and while Dick Mills certainly offers a wealth of helpful information, we had two problems with it. First, his videos were very dry. Watching them was laborious for our then 15-year-old son, like watching paint dry. Second, my husband did not have the "eye" to pick up on all the little details Dick Mills said to pay attention to. We eventually returned the system for a full refund and spent about the same amount of money instead on private pitching lessons with a top area instructor who had the knowledge and visual ability to see needed changes. Our son's form and speed greatly improved and as of today, his pitching record for the season is 6-1. I share this with no intention to bad-mouth or denigrate Dick Mills' program. For the right individual, it could be very helpful.
