My son has filled draft information forms from 6 or 7 scouts.Will any team notify you If they are putting you in the draft or do you ever know?

MLB attaches a draft number to a player, but you never know about it. If your son gets drafted they will call you. If scouts are coming for home visits or calling to ask how much it would take, then you could be sure that there is sufficient interest.

Every draft elgible player does not get a draft number. Numbers are only given to players that are submitted by the 30 MLB teams.
