Several of the top 14U teams in the country will be in attendance including last year's AAU National Champs, Lightning Baseball of NE and last year's USSSA National Champs, Beaver Valley Red. All are welcome to attend and admission is free. We are also very pleased to announce that Rick Stevenson, director and filmmaker of the movie "Prospect", has graciously agreed to speak to the teams, coaches, parents, etc... Friday evening, June 24 at 7:00pm at Princess Anne HS. You will not want to miss this, as his movie has garnered rave reviews within the baseball community, and the topic will be of keen interest to those looking to extend their baseball careers into college and beyond. Rick will also have DVD's of his movie on sale at the site.

Unfortunately for us we lost to BV red 8-4 in the championship. Had one really bad inning in which we gave up 6 runs, but the kids played hard. All in all, I was very pleased with our results especially given the fact that we had made the decision to bat the entire lineup in our games and give all our kids the opportunity to play against such outstanding teams. Most, if not all teams we played batted 10 or 9. BV pitched Jake Mayers against us...a kid we are very familiar with since he lives in Richmond, VA and still plays for the 15U Richmond Braves. The Lightning of NE finished 3rd.
