I just wanted to see what you would have done with this video. The ejections are obvious.. I'm talking about before the benches cleared and everything.

Ball in the dirt, batter and catcher appear to collide as catcher goes to retrieve the baseball while the batter starts toward first. A collision occurs and a fight breaks out.

There were two outs.

Usually when the catcher and B/R tangle up, it would be nothing. But in this case, my perception is that the B/R attempted to hit the ball with the bat, and that "unnatural action" lead to interference. So he would be out without a throw or tag. In this particular situation, there was a tag, so he's out regardless.

I'm not sure what the batter was doing. I'm not sure that he was trying to hit the ball olr not but he was tagged. For whatever reason he goes off on the catcher and gets a glove in the throat for his trouble.
