DUKE INVITE SHOWCASE

This was the first time i ever got something like this. Its like a letter from the coach saying iw as reccomended prospect and they would like to invite me to their summer invite showcase. I was wondering is this like a normal thing or is it good to get one, or like every one gets one and who ever fills out hte application goes.

does it mean anything that i got one or nothing at all like...I thought for a second that it was good cause it was cool to get a letter from the school..but after hearing that it means like nothing

Hey! Congratulations on being invited to Duke. It does mean something! Someone has turned in your name to Duke for you to get invited to their Select Showcase. Someone thinks you have great potential and Duke wants to tap into that potential if at all possible. If you are able to go -- by all means -- GO FOR IT! You won't be sorry!
