Duke out of March Madness...

I think someone beat the Blue Devil out of 'em!

Being near the heart of JJ country (SW VA), it was tough watching him walk off the court in tears. I can't ever remember a college player who took, and often thrived, the amount of abuse he took the past 4 years.

That being said, my bracket review this AM had LSU winning

Duke was vulnerable and it showed. Too much of what they do revolves and JJ and Sheldon. Not enough contribution from the other starters and a weak bench.

Never seen a Duke team not compete and look lost in the last 2 minutes of a big game. Williams completely failed to block out on a free throw - made no effort to even move. Then, LSU free throw shooter gets rebound with 4 Dukies along the block and no other LSU players.
Redick struggled the last 3 or so weeks but what great careers for him and Williams. There are plenty of Duke-haters out there but they do it well and they do it clean - every year.

Well, as a UK Wildcat Basketball fan and a SEC fan, I can't exactly say that it upset me to see Duke loose! However, Dennis, you are correct - Duke always is a program to contend with!

Can't wait to catch Florida tonight! Billy Donovan is one of my favorite coaches!

Man I can't believe LSU beat my two favorite college basketball teams. My thinking is, if you can't beat em, root for em. GO Tigers.
