(May 24, 2011) - Broad Run High School senior pitcher Taylor Clarke, who helped the Spartans to the Dulles District regular-season title, has been named the district's Player of the Year in a vote by the coaches. Broad Run skipper Pat Cassidy picked up Coach of the Year honors.
Clarke was named an unanimous choice as first team designated hitter and picked up second team pitching honors.
