Early season H.S. tournaments

Anyone else out there in the following varsity tournaments?

McKinney 2/22-2/24
Newman Smith 3/1-3/3
McKinney 3/8-3/10

Northwest is in that Grapevine tournament Feb. 22-24.

Also, Arlington Martin (Tyde Classic) tournament on Mar. 1-3 and Lake Highlands on Mar. 8-10.

Frisco is in if you are talking about the following tournaments
Lewisville Tourney (02-22 THRU 2-24)and the Tournament of Champions 03-08 THRU 3-10

These may be the same ones but these are on NW's schedule:

Feb 22-24 Dr. Pepper Grapevine Tournament
Mar 1 - 3 Arlington Martin Tournament
Mar 8 -10 Lake Highlands Tournament

3/ 1 – 3 TYDE CLASSIC
3/ 8 – 10 R. R. WESTWOOD CLASSIC

Are we all talking about the same 2/22 tournament?

The hicks (Longview Pine Tree)from East Texas will make the trip to McKinney for the McKinney Spring Spectacular Tournament March 8-10.

We'll open with McKinney High on the 8th and then finish pool play against Sherman and Lakeview Centennial on the 9th.

Our boys are excited about venturing out to the big city. Half of them have never left the county before. We are just hoping to stay within 10 runs of these big city schools.

Yes, our first scrimmage is against Tyler Lee on Feb 7 I believe. We always open with Tyler Lee since your coach and our ex-coach are brothers.

If he pitches like he did that night, ya'll won't have any trouble!! By the way, he's been going to therapy for the muscle that was "tweaked" and he is back to 100%.

We'll see if we can find some heaters for that weekend!

Good competition and several days out of school to play some ball. Nothing wrong with that.

Missing school isn't easy... at least where I come from. I know of certain players who couldn't wait to miss three days last year... then wouldn't stop complaining about it afterwards. Two words: TIME MANAGEMENT.
