Greetings all, thanks to all who post on this board! I’ve learned all sorts of useful things about baseball since finding this board earlier this spring. My 2019 son has ridden the college recruiting whirlwind this past year, has committed to a good D1 school that suits him as a player and a student, and is now enjoying summer with his club team. He was invited to the area code tryouts here in New England, and was asked to the call back tryout the next day as well. Haven’t heard back yet regarding the AC but he was invited to come to the East Coast Pro Showcase with the Red Sox team in early August down in Alabama. Plus a few north east exhibition games beforehand.
Has anyone here gone to this? What can be expected (of the exhibition games and the showcase)? Any insights would be much appreciated! We are definitely going.
On the AC, does anyone have insight on how long it takes to hear back? It has been a few weeks since the tryouts. Regardless, we had a great time at both tryout days. So much fun to see all those scouts with their radar guns pointed at my kid!
