I went back when i was in HS, and it was a very well run thing. TONS of scouts both college and high school 500+. Also your team is coached by scouts from various teams, they are sure to answer any questions you'll have about pro ball. You also get to where a big league uniform of whatever team your on, so its pretty sweet. Its a real top notch deal.

The East Coast Professional Showcase is held for a week (1st week of August)at the U of Wilmington in NC. It's UNC Wilmington university. It is a showcase put on by the scouts that work the east coast. It is scout driven and the players are selected by the scouts only. The teams are generated and put together by areas much like the area code does on the west coast. The teams have been selected already, for the most part. The scouts have selected tryouts that are only attended if you have received an invitation to attend. It is as good an event as the Area Code showcase.

an earlier post I made at the showcase thread.
