We are putting together a 16U summer team and were hoping to attend a "showcase" tournament. Do such tournaments exist where teams sign up, play and college scouts attend? Are there any good websites for such tournaments?

We will have two in West Virginia. Check out www.pastimetournaments.com. We have taken our tournaments into another region in the East Coast. It will be played at Mylan Park, in Morgantown, WV. 2 minutes from the campus. We have teams from indiana, Oklahoma, and Virginia signed up. Look forward to seeing you this summer.
The Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, SC has a 16u tournament in the summer of 2007 that runs from July 8-13. We will be inviting all of the regional college coaches to this weeklong tournament. Our package includes accommodations at Myrtlewood Villas (vacation condos), an all-access pass to NASCAR Speed Park, a water park, 2 Par 3 golf courses, and 5 mini-golf courses, as well as a 6-game minimum tournament at a world class facility.
