East Cobb Astros or Braves?

I'm looking at the teams for the WWBA Championship in Jupiter. It looks like East Cobb has made some changes. Is the team the Astros or the Braves? Their top 17U team is usually the Braves, I thought. I wonder why they're going to the tournament as the Astros?

Also - very interesting - they've picked up Miles Head from the Roadrunners. Is this permanent or just for the WWBA tournament?

The astros are their top 18u. We played them last year in the opener and will do the same this year.

I believe the Astros have been their top team for a while in the 16U and above ranks. I believe a handful of the guys off the '07 version of the Astros were drafted this past year and that doesn't include Cody Johnson who was the Braves first pick 2 years ago.

I had the understanding that the Astros were the top team for every age group up to and including 16U.

At 17U the top team is the East Cobb Braves
At 18& the top team is the East Cobb Yankees.

There was a 17U Astros team for the first time in 2006. I'm told that prior to last year there were no Astro teams at the 17U or 18U level.

I may have bad info.

16U- Astros, then Titans
17U- Braves (2007 1st yr for a Astro 17U team)
18U- Yankees

It is changing. It was never East Cobb's intent to have such a definition. However, the Astros have always been dominate. I know that East Cobb is trying to change this.
