Norview over Lake Taylor. 5-4

What an exciting game between LT and Norview. Both teams were pumped up for the game and good crowd on hand. Game was not won until bottom of 8th inning. Norview looked sharper earlier as Lake Taylor comitted 5 errors and looked like they had a long layoff from Spring Break.

LT was up 4-1 but 2 errors by LF, 1 by 1B, 1 by 2B and 1 by SS just compounded with J. Erby's inability to throw strikes in the 7th and 8th innings and gave the Pilots a chance to tie 4-4 in bottom of 6. Gutsy move by Norview's coach on the 8th as Norview loads the bases and wins on a squeeze play.

Tough loss for Lake Taylor but chance to rebound vs Norcom Friday. Coach Gray will have them ready.

Sounds like an exciting game. Wish that I could have been there.

I think it is great that Norview is having such a great season. They have more heart than any team in the Eastern district. They have players that other coaches did not have faith in and they are finding such success at Norview, where they are proceeding to whip up on their old coaches. Love it!

With Churchland's win over Maury, looks like we have 3 teams with 2 loses...no one is running away this year...I like it.

Lake taylor 3-0 over norcom

Lake Taylor beat Norcom 3-0. LT scores all 3 runs on bottom of the 1st inning as Norcom made 3 errors in the inning. Norcom's LHP was a crafty one as young men pounded the strike zone and had a nice curveball.
For LT we hit a little in the first inning and then cruised the rest of the way. Justin Erby was dominant on the mound as I believe Norcom only had 2 hits all day.
Up next is a DH at Greenbriar Christian Saturday.
