I'd pick WB, Cox, IR, and FC to move on

I got Cox, IR, Menchville & Maury with Menchville winning the region.

I'd pick Maury, Cox, IR and Menchville to move on

I've got Maury, Cox, IR, and Menchville as well.

With the caveat that I am often in error but never in doubt, I will pick Maury over Cox and Menchville over IR, but Maury's magic runs out in a close final. Hope I'm wrong about the final, a Cinderella Maury going to State would be a story Bob Uecker would love.

Course only Bob Uecker would forget that the second place team also goes to State. Dooh!

I will put my two cents in even though it not worth the money. I am picking WB , Cox, Granby and Menchville.

Menchville hasnt seen a team like FC, who played in the strong beach district.

Regardless i think Cox and IR are the teams to beat

I'm the biggest supporter of the Beach District.....For FC to have a shot at beating Menchville, they most score early, and not let Menchville get out to an early lead. Menchville may not have played a team like FC all year....but FC has not faced the pitching they are going to see with Menchville, either.....granted both teams must come to play - but any mistakes by either team in this game, could be the deciding factor.

i believe only 2 teams have advanced out of the region from the beach since they went to a 8 team district tournament (FC and PA the year PA won the state title with a team loaded with college/ professional talent)

baseball in the region has improved a great deal especially peninsula and norfolk teams

Kellam advanced in 2001.

yes they did but it was only a 6 team tourney in 2001 if memory serves
