Should be some pretty good matchups in group A.
I'll go with Chatsworth. It would be interesting to see Valdez go up against Chatsworth.

Group B: Moorpark

Group C: I have no idea how good the other teams are so I'll go with Agoura.

Group D:Crespi

Group E: West Ranch

Group F: Westlake - sorry.

Group G: Camarillo

Group H: El Camino

I really have no idea how good anyone is this year so these are purely guesses.

These are all the first games that teams play so it is pretty difficult to predict. I took a look at the summer VIBL standings are was surprised with the end results from a couple of teams. I did not see any Winter VIBL scores. Here they are:

A
Chatsworth
Alemany
I don’t think Hueneme is deep enough to get through.

B
Moorpark
Santa Monica
I believe SM has a couple of stud pitchers.

C
Agoura
Harvard-Westlake
Cleveland graduated a bunch of Sr’s.

D
Crespi
Quartzhill
Kennedy was middle of the pack in VIBL and I think QH may beat them.

E
West Ranch
Palmdale
Chaminade was middle of the pack in VIBL and Palmdale has some players and might knock them off.

F
Hart
Ventura
TO and Weslake were horrid in summer VIBL so Ventura has a chance to get in.

G
Valencia
Camarillo
Easy pick. (famous last words….)

H
El Camino
Buena
Buena has a very balanced team and has a 90MPH sleeper. Their coaching is weak so they might not get through, particularly early season.

BOF,
I pretty much used Summer VIBL as a guideline but you have to be careful with Westlake. I doubt very much that Cuneo or Yelich played very much during summer VIBL until the playoffs and it wouldn't surprise me if Nieves and Wise weren't there very often either.

There's a reason they turned around and beat Moorpark in the Summer VIBL playoffs.
Looks like Crespi will get in the top bracket if they win based on runs allowed. Either Camarillo or Valencia will be 2-0 so there will have to be a "coin flip" between Moorpark and Rio Mesa. That may mean that Rio Mesa gets in the top bracket since Moorpark is the host. The rain pattern was different from what we normally get with a band running inland of us and a band running west of us during the day on Saturday. It rained pretty heavily in some of the more inland areas.

I see Rio Mesa won the "coin flip" as anticipated.
