No feelings on baseball one way or another. It has a great marine bio program. Business is decent. Not sure about other academic programs. New (two or three years old)jr/sr dorms nice. Has it's own beach. You can keep your own boat in one of the school's slips. Looked like most of the other buildings were late 60s-mid 70s. Admissions folks very helpful. There was academic money. I think it had guarded gates, if I remember correctly.

I agree w/ TRhit, on the academics, scholarship and coach info.

I have a slightly different take on "beautiful campus". While the location, directly on Tampa Bay, is beautiful, it seems to me the maintenance of facilities, including baseball, is well below average and therefore the campus falls short of its potential to be "beautiful"

Academic money is available, but not enough to offset the high tuition costs when compared to other Div II schools in Florida.

Overall, I believe the school has some positives and is worth considering, and the quality of baseball is probably average for the Div II level nationally. However, they play in an elite Div II conference and I don't think they will ever be able to compete with the current committment of resources. In an average year they will be 8th or 9th in a 9 team league, when they have a good year they might be able to compete with the middle of the pack.
