ECU Head Coach suspended

JT, How are the boys on the mountain doing in Lynchburg? Thats my old stomping grounds and a great little town. I miss it! Who's the head coach now and are you guys beating my buddy over at Glass, Coach Brown?

All is well. Brown is still the Head Coach at Glass. My son plays for Heritage--and hopefully for LU next year.

See where coach Knight went over to Lynchburg College but is still teaching in public schools. I helped build the facility at LU!!!!

Yes--Dennis Knight left coaching at Heritage in 2000-01 and was at Hampden-Sydney for a couple years, and now is at his 3rd year at LC. Still teaches social studies at HHS.

You're dating yourself for the LU facility...
...great playing surface and the clubhouse is top-notch. Only needs some new bleachers/stands and lights to be one of the best.

I built the outdoor cages and put the lights on them. I spent about 14 hrs a day on that field and helped get the clubhouse off the ground!

I see that Billy Godwin has been named officially as permanent head coach--there will be no national search

What is the situation with asst coaches. I see on the ECU site only Link Jarrett and volunteer asst Ryan Riley.

I played with ECU assistant Link Jarrett and grew up with him. ECU has one of the finest assistant coaches in the country bar none. Not only is Link a great baseball man, but he is also one of the finest people I know. This guy will have an impact on ECU baseball, and lead his own team to Omaha one day. ECU is a better place with Link Jarrett.
