C-Ville Dad,
According to one of the Weatherford dads (a really objective baseball guy), he said that top to bottom El Paso swings the bat very well. They're not real big but can still really put a charge into the ball. He didn't see any easy outs in the order. Case in point, they knocked Britton out of the 2nd and deciding game and he's considered one of the top lefties in the nation. Probably will be a high draft pick, if you believe Baseball America.
Their pitchers are not supposed to be dominant and should be hittable for you guys. They're around the plate a lot and will force you to put the ball in play. El Paso also is pretty sound defensively so they're probably not going to kick the ball around and beat themselves. If you guys keep hitting gappers like you did against us you should be OK.
It should be fun - I'm envious
. Enjoy the ride and good luck to you guys.
