Elite Baseball of Lancaser will be holding a Winter Pitching Clinic at their PA facility on January 8th, 2011. Our Pitching Camp is designed for players between the ages of 9-18. Our emphasis will be on the fundamentals necessary to become a more complete pitcher. Focusing on: mechanics, arm slot, release point, balance, and the mental approach to pitching.

Former Major League pitcher Bob File will be running the camp. Bob was a 19th round draft choice, as a third base-man, of the Toronto Blue Jays in 1998. . He was con-verted to a pitcher in the minors and played nine sea-sons in professional baseball, including three seasons in the major leagues. After the 2001 season, he was named the Rookie of the Year by Toronto Sports Writ-ers and finished third in the American League Rookie of the Year voting. Overall, for the Blue Jays, File pitched in 89 career games, threw 111.1 innings, struck out 55 batters, and finished with a 6-4 overall MLB record.
