My son was also invited to play. We went to their meeting. 300 invitation letters were sent in IL to recruit the 12 players. They will accept as many of the 300 as accept the offer. An honor to be asked, but not very exclusive.

The list of attending coaches on their website is mainly D3, NAIA, and JC. NO D1.

Sounded like a fun, baseball oriented vacation, but not a great showcase for kids trying to get recuited.

really...that's interesting. We could not make it to the meeting, the weather was too nasty. So how many kids have accepted so far, do you know? It does sound like fun, but expensive.

Just so you know every kid at every Class AA high school in the Peoria area received one of these. Not very exclusive all. It seems to be strictly a moneymaker.
