Rollins is D2. Emory is D3.
may be this is a stupid question then but does that mean Rollins has a higher level of play? Do more scouts watch D2 then D3 no matter what rank in the division the team is?
Emory achieves more in D3 than Rollins does in D2, so from that perspective Emory could be considered the higher level program. Emory is also far superior academically.
Thanks for input-my son has been a very unhappy JUCO player and has had very little if next to no play time this year as a sophmore and wants to find a superior academic school where he will not sit the bench. He is a relief pitcher but despite improving over last season he gets less play due to some 'favored' freshman. He is thinking that Emory might give him a chance to pitch.
Keep in mind that EMORY is nationally ranked just about every year--it is no cinch to make their squad

Your son might want to consider Piedmont College (D3) up in Demorest, Ga. They are currently ranked #5 in the country but are always looking for talented players.
