Am I wrong, or are there too many empty seats in MLB stadiums this year? Watching my Redbirds play the Nationals, and am surprised at the low attendance, judging by the cameras. Philly was the same. What's up??

Two things to look at before any other analysis is 1) the weather of each game day and 2) the potential of the team for the year. Often April weather isn't conducive to paying to sit and freeze.
Miami feels everyone else is behind the curve.

Its early in the season, nothing on the line, kids are in school and its cold.
In the Red Sox case, just as many people there, just not as many tickets bought by brokers. At least they're trying a 6:35 start and giving kids reduced price on food to get them out.
I like butts in seats as much as the next guy, but what do you expect at this point in the season when NHL and NBA are both playing down the stretch (in doors)?
Is there anything you can't find on the internet?

jp24, only down 324 per game. Given this year's weather compared to last year, I'd say that's not bad.
Maybe because is tooooooo boringgggg!!!!
Baseball is a game for grandpas to go and take a nap
