In baseball I'm usually at 3rd base, sometimes but I'm having a difficult time. I don't step on the field now without wearing a athletic supporter/ jockstrap cup. It's just on multiple occasions I've taken a couple shots to the cup and still hurts. When I was up to bat the opposing pitcher got me on a fast ball. Should I switch to the sliding shorts. It seems like at times it just pinches. And Tagging back up to 2nd base the pitcher accidently missed and got me. Is it the jock cup I'm possibly using which is a Duke 2 in 1 jock. Because I was reading that shock doctors are pretty good but any ideas or opinions?

I just asked keewartson what he does: wears sliding shorts with a jock w/cup over them. Seems to work for him. He uses Shock Doctor.
My son uses the UA Slider Shorts with built in cup pocket. Easy to take the cup in and out in between games and then it just looks like you are wearing compression shorts.

The UA are nice to. May try them out. It's just I don't want the cup to move

The cup slips into a pocket, the pocket holds the cup in place against your body. If you are sweating really bad you may want to put some body glide on to limit the chaffing.

Should I use that first? Because I was using the jock cup and then boxers. Or the shorts and cup then briefs? I was using the Duke one. But I had issues with it sweating and moving. But the under armour ones are pretty good?
Use a metal cup, it only dents but no cracking.

It's like a pair of underwear with a cup sewn into them. There is fabric on both sides of the cup so it can't slip away. To the outside world they look like compression shorts, to the athlete they are underwear with a cup securely in the pocket. You have to work to get the cup in and out of the pocket but there are no straps or anything to make it complicated. My son puts the cup in then slips the shorts on. If he has a break between games he goes to the bathroom and removes the cup...game time he goes back to the bathroom and puts it back in.
