Joedaddy -- my experience isn't first hand but ETBU has had a few good years in the East division of the ASC (DIII). My son played in the ASC West for 4 years. They have a nice program but the D3's are handicapped by 1) no athetic money, and 2) strict NCAA rules regarding the fall season. As you might suspect, the D3 coaches -- with no NLI, etc. -- have to accept "hand-shake" commitments and wait to see who shows up at school in August. So, the rosters are always a bit uncertain until spring. Most of the ASC schools do not have viable JV programs. At present, the fields in the ASC West are nicer than those in the East. But UT-Tyler and UT-Dallas have been nice additions to the conference.
I think the ASC is well-run and the level of baseball is pretty decent. Sorry I can't give you more on ETBU specifically. This level of baseball was a great fit for my oldest son.
