JAMNIK GOES THE DISTANCE IN 7-2 WIN

Fort Worth, TX (08.02.08)- Jeff Jamnik threw a complete game with six strikeouts, as the Grand Prairie AirHogs topped the Fort Worth Cats 7-2 on Saturday night. Grand Prairie now has a 1.5 game lead over the Cats in the southern division.

Jamnik (1-0) went the distance in the complete game victory for Grand Prairie. He allowed just two runs on eight hits with no walks.

I enjoyed coaching Jeff in the DABA and I knew he could do it! Hopefully it is the first of many for him.
