Our son's end of year exit meetings included the following:

His season ... basicly his coaches did a 'performance review'

His summer ... where he was going, what to work on, and his limits (he was a work horse and always threw a lot during the season so they didn't want him pushed in summer ... he warned his Cape coach between soph/junior seasons that he had limits on IP and would contact his coaches if the Cape coach tried to push him)

His role on the team next season

His scholarship money (fortunately each year brought an increase)

That was basically it for him.

Don't like to reer it to an exit meeting unless yoru player is exiting. Smile

I am not sure if other coach was involved. Son's was always short and sweet, thanks for everything, what you can improve upon, class GPA have a good summer see ya in the fall. His summer pitching instructions were handled by the pitching coach.
Our son was handed a questioneer to fill out---do you feel like you were treated fairly by the coaching staff, were they helpful in your academic's,where you made to feel a part of the team by other teammates....how rediculous is this.
Why would a kid critique a coaching staff unless he wanted to suck up or put an end to his career--depending on his answers. I don't think a questioneer is the way to go...the end of the year conversation is all that is needed. I think that you do not leave the meeting with the coaches until you get the answers that you can live with. The player needs to stand their ground(without being disrespectful) as to solidify there situation for next year. If the coaches are wishy washy then make your decisions based on what is right for YOU..and no one else.
