during the summer of 05 I saw 4 or 5 players in California in the 14u division they are now 15u. Mike Massari from the SoCal Sidewinders(grad class of 08)stood out the most. He's only 5 ft 8 inches but can throw a 80-83 mph fastball with an unbelievable curveball. He throws his fastball with tons of movement. He attends Quartz Hill High School in Palmdale, Ca. Mike also plays for the California Owls in the 16u division as a 15u player. Mike is not currently on a team the owls are temporary just to get extra work in. He expects to go to the jounior olympics in 06 with the Sidewinders or the SoCal panthers. Mike plays Center Field and middle infield with talent. Unblelievable speed and a great bat. He is the catalyst to any lineup.
