Fall practice

Fall is a good time for players to work on improving their game and for new players to bond with the "old timers."

just got back from watching son pitch 4 innings scrimmage and he did well 1 run allowed, 3 hits.

What a thrill to see him on the mound for his college team! I cant wait for winter to come and go so I can see him in a real college game.

Scrimmages are weird in that you want son to pitch well but hard to clap if he strikes out a teammate!-especially if teammate has parents sitting somewhere close by and you as a freshman parent have no clue who anybody is!

CD has started a thread on fall ball in the Oh/KY/PA/WV forum.

My son's team has been practicing almost a month. We visited a couple weeks ago. It was great seeing him play. I even brought the camera!

It is a lot of fun to see your kid for the first time in his college uni.....made it to scout day last year and I'm headin to the Bay area for work next week and will be lucky enough to catch the St. Marys alumni game this year. Nice photo...enjoy the time!!!!
