Fall Showcase Tryouts Announced

This is going to be a great season, currently the Showcase League schedule has the Showcase League traveling to 5 of the 6 New England States, thats a lot of college coaches who will be watching these boys play baseball.

Keep up the great work guys! My son is only an 8th grader but I look forward to him having the opportunity to try out for the program down the road. do Freshman tryout or usually Sophomores and older?

If you are a Sophomore at the time of the tryouts you can tryout, although it will be hard to make the program but some have done it.

For sophomores tryouts can act as a way to size yourself up against some of the older players in the State.

Tryouts are just around the corner.

If a player is from Litchfield, which tryout would they attend? The Holman one?

You can attend as many tryouts as you choose. You can attend any tryout location.

Less than $400, the final cost has not been determined, there is a $5 fee to tryout this is to cover the cost of the shirts that every player who trys out will receive, these shirts will have numbers on them to aid the coaches in recognizing the players. The number on their shirts will match the tryout form the coaches will be using, cost is less than $45 per week.

You get a 9 week schedule of games with a chance to play more games with playoffs and the NH vs. Maine Game. Visit www.nhbaseball.org for the full schedule.

9 weeks includes all games plus indoor and outdoor practices weekly. Uniform, Hats, etc all included in costs.

My son will be a Freshman next season at Nashua North. I was asking more for my cousin's son who is a junior (senior next season) there at Cambell High. Not sure if he knows of the program was going to forward him the info in case he might be interested.

Redsox, we would appreciate if you spread the word to your cousin's son! With a grass roots program that is non-profit and a registered New Hampshire Charitable trust we need all the word of mouth we can get. I would recommend he attends more than one tryout personally.

how'd we lose a state? i know there have been some cut backs ..............but a whole state? maybe it was a little one, like rhode island.

No sir we will be playing at URI this season. We did not look for a host in CT. Maybe next season.

it was my weak attempt at humor .......there are 6 new england states.

I missed it, so we're in 5 of 6 states this season. Not bad.

Would have been a good joke if we were smart enough to pick up on it!
