I wuz there. And reading the Newsless Sent this morning, i thot the account of the "overthrow" to second leading to Kings go ahead score wuz interesting. As I saw it, it was NOT an overthrow, but NO ONE or late coverage of second base, that allowed the ball to get into center field??? How did u see it??
Just to set the record straight so there is no misunderstanding, Farragut ran a delayed steal and the throw I made was right on the bag. The second baseman was a sleep and botched the whole play. If he is there, King is out just like Eskew before. The comments in the NS were made due to a lack of understanding of the game.

That is precisely what the delayed steal is supposed to do. Without anyone yelling that the runner is going often the catcher is caught off gaurd or the shortstop or as in this case the second baseman. You seem to be coming down awfully hard on your teammate in a public forum, not sure you meant to do that.
