Enjoy your day! Just wished it was warm, sunny and you were all able to watch your son's play the great game of baseball today. Guess it will have to be either the CWS or MLB today instead!

Grab a cold one (after 12nn of course) prop up those feet, ask your son(s) to join you (in the game watching activity not the beverage) and have a great day you deserve it!

PD:

Any Mexican food restaurant is good and better than anything I have had here. Actually it is Mexican food this is Tex Mex. I always recommend a good Green Chile Burro (burrito for you Texans).

If you haven't ever had a Cheese Crisp http://www.recipegoldmine.com/eggcheese/eggcheese7.html as an appetizer go for it, it is such an easy thing to make/good to eat and I don't understand the lack of it on the menu's here.

If you have down time and can afford a couple hours away go to:

Sedona
Montezuma's Castle link2Montz.castle
(when I was younger I climbed all around it now you have to view it from afar).

Jerome (Ghost Town)
link2Jerome

Frank Lloyd Wright Museum Tallesin West link2Tallesin place north of Scottsdale

The Heard Museum link2Heard (if you are into Indian artifacts/history)

Prescott is a cool town if you have the time you can do the loop of Sedona/Jerome and Prescott.

The Grand Canyon, only if you have a day and then some to visit..... it isn't just up the street as some think it is.

And in Tempe there is the great institution called ASU, they have a pretty good little baseball team there, but mind you what you see in the summer of the campus is a poor representation of how it looks during the school year. Last summer I was there and the old Frat. Row looked like a Nuclear Event had just happened.

If you want a good burger and if it is still there on University ChuckBox,

link2chuckbox also there is a place called Minder Binders

link 2 Minder Binders

that was a cool hangout in the "day".

You are only 2 hours or less from Tucson so if you want to visit another College Campus then there is another University there but I just can't remember the name of it right now, I will get back to you.

Mill Street is wonderful full of good restaurants and there is the Salt River that you can walk around and I think rent some boats at.

Enjoy and I might just run into you there I have been toying around with going for the weekend to visit some friends and watch a LH Wildcats game so you just never know...............will you be at the same location as the Wildcats.
