We all need to find one not made by the faceless conglomerate, Conagra. I'm hearing seeds by the name of Bigs are actually the best. OK, I know, they have lots of brands of different snacks too, so they are a conglomerate wannabe.

And unlike Davids, they come in resealable bags so they don't spill out into your gear bag and you then don't have to dust off the ones that get trapped in the corner of your gear bag, near your cleats, before eating them.

No, but if you can find someone who dips you can have him or her fill up this device and then you can add your own favorite brand of seeds and let
'em soak up all of the second hand Skoal® essence they can handle. The old MudJug. A buddy does all the graphics they put on them for that company.

You'll be spittin' 'em far papi!

Ill definately second that! You got to try their Sizzlin' Bacon flavor.

Here is a partial list (off the top of my head) of brands that I have purchased in the past. I have a complete list somewhere, and if I find it, I will post any others at a later date. If anyone knows of any others please post them as I am always willing to try different manufacturers.

Davids

Bigs

Giants

Spitz

Frito-Lay

Zotes

Interstate Bait

Krispy Kernels

JR's

Rock Starz

Zips

Sumseeds

Gerbs

Dakota Kid

Cha Cha

Smokin Hot Nuts (my favorite)

I tried the Sumseeds several years ago because Tony Gwynn's picture was on the bag. The Honey Barbeque were OK tastewise but the whole caffeine thing went un-noticed. BTW, I didn't give these to my baseball players because kids don't need the extra caffeine. This year the little leaguers seem to like the salted caramel the best. I think because they are new. I suspect the cinnamon and sugar will win out again in the long run. For the adults, the smoked garlic from "Smokin Hot Nuts" seem to be the favorite again.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't remember having flavor choices when I played. Of course, I was in Texas where seeds took a back seat to dip even with young kids. I coached a T-ball age team as a senior in high school and half that team was dipping Happy Days (a precurser to Skoal) at the age of six. Crazy to think of today.

Yes I remember those days in Texas. My dad actually grinded up beef jerky and put it in a cleaned out skoal can. At 10 years old I thought I was the cooliest kid at the fields.   As for sunflower seeds, I go with Davids and a cold coke
