DJ Rathbone got the win and a hit to help the cause as someone finally got Austin out. He's started 7 for 7. FC hit up and down the line up with Frank Berry hitting two huge doubles. Great defense. Stubbe is still smiling.

I think they're like 2-0. They are in the Heritage Invitational (GO PIONEERS) and I'll get to see them play 2-3 times. Two strong Jr pitchers with a "crafty lefty" and a hard-throwing righty. SS Marcus Rose signed early with Furman.
Yeah we(salem) Didnt exactly play a flawless game yesterday! We had too many small things get to us, and we couldnt make key plays, or get the key pitches when we needed them, and we still havent hit the ball very well! We will come around. (I PROMISE) We are hoping to turn things around in Richmond next week

Thanks, that means alot. We are a very young team and yes we do work VERY hard. Six days a week rain or shine, inside or outside, it doesnt matter. I really dont have much time for anything else...but i dont mind giving everything up for the game i love.
That was Kyle Madeira..This is his first year with us. He came in from Chicago over the summer. Kyle used to live here. Honestly i dont know the whole story but he will have a huge positive impact on our team this year. Hes a great player!!!!
