Facilities are "off the chart" nice; I understand Mr. Wagner gave a considerable amount toward the stadium and the field-professionally built and lit. Looks like a nice minor league field. It is gorgeous. The baseball stadium may be the nicest place on campus.
My sons' school plays them every year as we're in the USA South Conference. The coach is becoming full time A.D. Ferrum is in very rural area, near Rocky Mount, Virginia, not far from Roanoke, but it is in the country. As opponents, Ferrum was very competitive, played solid baseball, and I didn't notice any obvious problems, but it's hard to determine coach-player relations from the stands.
