Help!

My 14yr old son's travel team coach is out of town next week, and has asked if I would run practice. I agreed so the boys can have practice. Although I've watched my boys over the years, I am not a coach> So, I and am looking to you for help in putting together a meaningful practice for 1.5 hrs on Mon, Wed, & Thurs of next week.

Your suggestions for drills, pacing, etc. would be most helpful.

If you feell like sending me an email, my address is bigdawgryan@yahoo.com

Thanks in advance for any and all of your help.

[ Hey BigDaw

Let's assume your sons coach is a good one and does alot work toward the basic fundamental skills to make these kids better players...HAVE a FUN day, see what the players would like to do. Take a little batting practice and most like scrimmage games, let the guys pitch that need some work on the mound or that don't get to in game situations. ..Divide up 6 on 6 have get a couple a dads to fill in holes and have some FUN.... ... party
IT's A GAME
To many coaches want to run team like drill Sargents, and are turning kids away from the game, burn out at 14 it's a shame..... They are still kids and BOYS just want to have FUN
