That would be a good matchup as was their earlier contest. Both teams are 19-2 as of today, so I guess we could all see it coming for a while.

Keene & Alvirne will have something to say before we get to any "dream" matchup. If we do, then it will be a classic NH Class L state championship.

From what I have seen, in a 7 game series, these two teams would go to extra frames in game 7.

Hope they both get there. If they do, let's see if the NHIAA can make it double elimination. lol
I didn't see those results yesterday, congrats to both Keene and Alvirne. Both squads showed up ready to play and got it done. Should be a great finals, side note on the day Alvirne and Keene had the loudest fans out of the four teams. Should be a great match up on Saturday evening. On final note both Alvirne and Keene's starting pitchers did a fantastic job, especially after all discussion on this board, by myself included was about the pitchers wearing Lancers and Pioneers jerseys, you two both deserve acknowledgement for your performances yesterday, again congrats as Will O. said you boys earned.
ALbaseball, are you a player, parent, or coach over there? I know our fall showcase league did not have one player at any of our tryouts from Alvrine last year. We had many from all around them Nashua, Londonderry, Manchester, BG, Bedford, even Lowell MA but no Alvrine players. Do they not know it exists or do they choose not to tryout? Seemed like some talented players on that team.
player sir, and we usually play in a league through the legion whcih is a little cheaper. Nothign againt your prgram its a great program our choaches have asked if we want to do that we just have said no casue of the money. But it is a great program, and many talented kids go through it, you get the exposer you need if you want to go to college. And thanks for the complimets we have good talent that goes unnoticed. Everyone has slept on us all year. We knew we could do this we have been saying it since we were 12 year old all stars when we lost to Londonderry in the distric finals.
ALBASEBALL, again congrats on the big win and good luck in the Championship. It is good to hear that the Alvirne players are aware of the Showcase League but I think there may be some confusion about the cost, I believe the average weekly cost is less than $50 per week and consider that you practice once outside, once inside and play one 9 inning game on some of the best fields in New England each week. In comparision to some showcase tryouts a player can spend the same amount for a three hour event as what our players spend for a 8 or 9 week program, and we are developing a reputable track record. I assume you are a senior, I just ask that you suggest to your younger teammates to look into the program and see what they get for the price, I honestly feel the benefit out weighs the cost.

Side note how did you enjoy our Varsity Division last fall?
ALBASEBALL, our Varsity division has some very committed coaches such as the Hudson Legion Coach, John Braun if memory serves me, Londonderry had Fisher and Neverman, Grizzlies had Jackson, Keene had Secore, Seacoast had Tobin and Johnson and Nashua had Sanderson. These coaches are what makes our Varsity league so successful and beneficial to New Hampshire baseball. We are hoping to have the same level of commitment from coaches this year.
I believe you can't go wrong with either team in this final. My head says Keene will take this one, but I believe Alvirne is the team playing the loosest at this point in the playoffs and that can't be overestimated. Keene, Londonderry, and Trinity tightened up in the semi's.
I didn't have a problem with either team's fans though. They are both loud and excited!
I want to wish both teams good luck this weekend and I hope to be in their position next season!
I agree with Ironwill, both teams are solid and deserve to be playing in this game. Personally ALBaseball has sold me on Alvirne and thats my pick I became a believer the other night vs. Trinity. This team has nothing to lose and everything to gain I imagine they would be considered the underdog in this match up. I like picking the underdog. Good luck to both teams. I am really looking forward to the game. I encourage all to attend at least one of these games.
