Geez I woke up today and thought it was January all over again....had to buy the paper on the way to work just to verify the date.

Gonna need all the adrenaline we can muster just to keep warm this week provided they even get to play!

We had snow today in Quebec...

We don't even start practicing outside

Got snow right now in Connecticut

Ditto Tom...we are actually having thunder/snow showers. Insane!


Well at least they had a window to get yesterday's game in and finally kick-off the season. On the bright side it was a win and son went 2-4 w/couple of ribbies. Now they need to carry that momentum into the next game which may be played sometime in May the way it's lookin now!

My boys open up today. I have the thermos ready, coat, blanket and hand warmers.....

They were supposed to make-up Monday's home opener today but that ain't happening.

Funny thing was it snowed like crazy south of us. They played and won but it was cold. Having played and now coached in the NE for years I'm usually pretty well prepared. This being a fan stuff is all new however. Watching all the parents freezing and underdressed is sometimes funny. I have no idea what they're thinking.
