First College game

Car is packed,...college logo shirts ready to throw on,....got the cooler, lounge chairs ( & sleeping bags, hand warmers, earmuffs, nose mittens, thermos, & hot cocoa ) all ready. Countdown,...5-4-3-2....just a few more days til' opening day!

My son had his first game saturday, he got to start as the Shortstop and had about 8 plays including starting 3 double plays, didn't get any of them but he got to start them. Hit in the 4 hole and struggled getting on top of the ball killing a bunch of worms! He did manage one base hit with an RBI and no k's. Team won 5-4. Beautiful day. He looked so happy to be out there, especially after missing his entire senior year due to injury. We were happy to see him out there again too. They play today and Wednesday also. We will be at the Wednesday game as well, the first home game!
