4my, is your son back in the States now, or is this a Euro league or something? If it's a Stateside team, with your working overseas, how did you find a place for him to play??

Krakatoa, he is currently in a boarding school in P.A., (30 min. from Pittsburgh) but will be transfering too Florida in August which will allow him too play baseball all school year. As far as this summer, I had a summer team lined up for him too play with but the team folded, he was going too stay with some cousins on the wife's side of the family. Currently, he will play in a wood batleague this summer that provides boarding, the season starts the 5th of June and ends the 31st of July. I will take vacation in August and take him too 1 showcase in N.C. prior too school starting at the end of August. FYI, I am from Ohio.

I'm from Michigan! Have an Aunt and Uncle over in Chagrin Falls, though. Good luck to your boy. Mine's working out with a Korean team and me one-on-one, showcase in July. We'll just keep working on getting better every day, every week, every month......he's just a frosh, so we have time to figure things out. Next summer, hope to find a place to just plop down for 6 weeks and play ball.....I hate living out of a suitcase all summer, bouncing from rleative to relative; give me a timeshare and a baseball team and we'll be fine!
