Saipanwarrior,

Good job, Your guess was real close. Congratulations to all.

It appears only two nominations were the max allowed per team: Cox's Chris Taylor at SS knocked out OF/Proflet (chksp)while Landstown OF/Fedunewicz knocked out P/2B Lawhorn. Congrats Mikey (they are closest to best friends); well deserved nominee.

Davis is a good pick at 3B; providing a strong Pitching presence and hit the ball well. I thought Dan Brion of Salem may of been a nominee, but the two-player rule comes into play again.

Early in the season, I thought 1B would be Pat Hall's for the taking. Ross Cardwell would be my next choice.

So what are the predictions for next year? Big Grin

Two player rule? Is that something new this year? I believe Cox had four players last year in Reed Killen, Drew Wilkinson, Kyle McBride, and Kyle Profilet

Looking at the list; it appears that way(this year) with no single team showing more than two players.

Personally, I like the selections and happy to see Boyce(FC) and Lewis(OL) land spots. But, I am surprised that Profilet was not on there; especially if he was there last year.

Aditionally, the other afore mentioned player's regular season(which the selections are based on) resume includes the following:

6-0 record going into the last game of the season; pitched through four innings trailing 2-0 and would subsequently collect the lost finishing 6-1 with an ERA under 2.

Wins included:
4-0 FC (Egan/Hinson)3-hitter
4-3 vs Cox(Mattes)
W vs GR(Shawn)
3-1 vs OL; (Shooker/Lewis)10K's & 10 Groundouts
5-3 vs PA (Tomchik)
7-3 vs Kellam (Dilfugo) 3 hit shutout through 6.

Tied 2-2 with Bayside (Deschamps/Davis) through 71/3; no decision.

Is that a strong enough argument, not sure. But, they doubled up at short and 3B where as they could of easly done that at catcher with Butler and Newman.

Ben Tomchick the Pitcher and Ben Tomchick the 3B
are one in the same; unless I am missing someone.

SS Vanden Patel made the 2nd team.

I was impressed with Hughes and Johnson. Like most of the beach teams Kempsville appeared to have a relatively young talented team.
