Went to one of their games last yr. Looks like a solid baseball program. I would call it an upper level NAIA team. Plays in a pretty tough NAIA conference - Florida Sun Conference. Several good teams in that conference - Embry ranked top 5 in the nation. Again - looked like a solid and well coached baseball team. Did not see a weak player.

I know a little about Flagler. Dave Barnett their head coach played in the Montreal Expo's organization back in the late 70's. I know he played his college ball @ UNC.
Good baseball program, not great. NAIA school so NCAA Clearinghouse rules do not affect a student athletes eligibility. I have seen their program ranked the past couple of years. I do not think they finished up 05 season in the top 25 though??
I am not sure on their likely hood of taking out of staters. But who knows, if you kid is a back stop and can hit and run a little, ya never know.

Do you know anything about their assistant coach? Younger guy?
He must be a student assistant, I know they have an older gentleman as a pitching coach, but I do not know much about either of them. Check around, maybe try the Florida Forum. They may be able to give you more info.
I can say Flagler College is a great place to go to school and play baseball. I was a 4 year player there. The competition is very good. Every year they play the top DII's around the state and compete in the rugged Florida Sun conference. Walkerm28 send me a private message and I can tell you more information about the school and coaching staff.
