April 8th is Flood the Bud night!!!! Come out and enjoy a great Friday night at ODU baseball! They will be giving out "stuff" and playing games to give you a chance to win prizes!

Come to Rally Ally and enjoy an adult beverage! Grasscutter will be buying the first round!

Hope to see all of you local baseball people!

Kyle Hald(Springfield, Va) is the Friday night starter. Lots of other Virginia starters, Chris Baker (Deep Creek), Brian Bashara (Maury)/ Brandon Shelton(Great Bridge), Josh Wright (Bridgewater,Va), Brent Frazier (Fairfax,Va), Shawn Sizemore (Menchville), Kenny Stoneback (Colonial Heights). Coming out of the BullPen on a regular basis is Dean Ali (Indian River), Adam Weisniewski (Granby) and Ben Verlander (Goochland). Joey Burney(Gloucester,Va) is a DH.

Come out and support your Virginia Players!!!

Thanks to Greg Smith,(ODU)no more generator noise to interrupt the festivities.Remember kids in uniform(baseball) get in free,so come on out baseball dads this is a great time for family,food,spirits and most importantly baseball.Coach Goulet and assistant's have been doing a great job keeping ODU in the hunt for the end of year tournament.All the players have contributed either by glove,bat or arm and that has been fantastic for local and out of town parents and players.Go Monarch's!

The noise is gone because they moved the portable concession tents closer to the stands and put electrical lines underground the few feet needed.

Don't get me started about why "that wasn't thought about" before. If there was planning, there would be many things changed. Everything is still going in the forward motion, but many items still are falling through the cracks. Stay positive, the beer is still cold!!!!


Hope the weather holds out for "Flood the Bud" on Friday. Hope to see some of you out at the field.

Great game last night against Norfolk State. Many local players were on both teams. Fun to watch!
