The Central Florida Renegades are accepting players 16-18 for the 2007 Fall Scout Team. The team will be coached by Seminole CC associate head coach and Boston Red Sox scout Ricky Plante and Leesburg High School's Ryan Peavey.
The Renegades are also accepting players 14-16 for our 16U that will be coached by John Updike. They will play a slightly different schedule than the 18s and will go to the Perfect Game Underclassman Championships.
The 18U schedule includes (2) Perfect Game events, a weekend trip to Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach, showcase events in Jacksonville and Vero Beach, and games against junior colleges.
The tryouts are scheduled for August 11 and 12 at Winter Park High School at 11 a.m. on both days. Players can call 352-365-6130 for more information and to pre-register. There is NO CHARGE for this tryout.
