Fritz Hamburg is the HC at St. Joes. He was the Assoc. HC and pitching coach at Army when Junior was a freshman there. All the players love Fritz. Good baseball guy, good HC, commands respect, NO BS, very straight up. I would feel very comfortable sending my kids to play for him. I would expect him to be very successful at St. Joes (just finished his first year there).
I see SJU's as one of the up and coming mid major D1's (my two bit opinion). They've had trouble recruiting in the past due to very poor facilities. They have a new head coach with a great reputation. The land for the new facility has been purchased. I'm not sure if development has started. SJU is a quality Catholic university.
BIG NEWS:

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Saint Joseph's University and the Camden Riversharks have reached an agreement that will allow Saint Joseph's to play its entire 25-game 2010 home schedule at Campbell's Field in Camden, N.J.

The move to Campbell's Field is the first step in the planned transition to playing home games at an on-campus facility in the near future. A new home field for the Hawks is included in the University's master plan for the use of the space on the Maguire Campus that opened in 2008.
Something must have happened at Fordham. Coach DeCicco, potching coach and recruiting coach is gone suddenly. Know someone whos son was being recruited by them, and got the feeling from talking to the head coach that he was less than happy with offers being made, timelines, ect, and was left with the impression that he should look elsewhere. My friends only though was it would have been nice if someone had given him a heads up.

Coach DiCicco left to become the pitching coach at Army. Typically, there is no heads up to recruits when an assistant coach leaves.
